Winner of the Like and Share contest of those who shared our Fingerling contest posting was Gleena Letemplier. Congratulations Gleena. You will receive a little gift soon.
Congratulations to Keisha Burke who won the Fingerling from our block draw. Keisha has donated the fingerling back to the SPCA and we will put it in our upcoming auction. Thank you Keisha.
This fundraiser did well. We were selling 100 blocks but only managed to sell 75. To make it easier to draw we added everyone’s name into a hat. If you bought one ticket, your name was entered once, if you bought twenty tickets, your name was entered twenty times. Thank you to all those who bought the blocks. <3
Elijah: Arrived Nov.24/17 @ 6 weeks old.
Elijah takes everything as it comes. Although he prefers cats he is learning to accept those rude drooling, barking things as long as they show some manners. He really enjoys people almost as much as cats. They let him play with their boot laces and climb into their arms for a cuddle. When the fun is over Elijah likes to nap in a snuggle pile of sleeping roommates.
Thank you to the wonderful sponsors who are helping fund Elijah’s neuter.
Thank you to Salt Pond Esso who is the exclusive sponsor of Noelle’s spay which will happen on Wednesday, March 22, 2018.
Thank you to this local community business for always supporting the shelter and its animals.

Noelle: Female, Arrived Dec 19/18 @ 1yr old
Noelle arrived as a young mother with three beautiful kittens. While nursing her kittens Noelle shared a room with several other cats. Normally this would make a nursing mother very protective and aggressive. Noelle was a great mom but was very tolerant of the others in her room. Now that the babies are all weened, Noelle is finding much more time to focus on herself. She enjoys her daily spa treatments. The staff here give great massages and she never misses a fur appointment. Sometimes she gets a little embarrassed when she’s caught napping during one of her sessions but hey, it’s very tiring raising three children. Her children are moving on to new homes. Noelle is ready to put motherhood behind her and begin a new life with a family of her own.
