Noelle: Female, Arrived Dec 19/18 @ 1yr old
Noelle arrived as a young mother with three beautiful kittens. While nursing her kittens Noelle shared a room with several other cats. Normally this would make a nursing mother very protective and aggressive. Noelle was a great mom but was very tolerant of the others in her room. Now that the babies are all weened, Noelle is finding much more time to focus on herself. She enjoys her daily spa treatments. The staff here give great massages and she never misses a fur appointment. Sometimes she gets a little embarrassed when she’s caught napping during one of her sessions but hey, it’s very tiring raising three children. Her children are moving on to new homes. Noelle is ready to put motherhood behind her and begin a new life with a family of her own.
Cosmo: male. Arrived Jan 17/18 @ 8 mos.
Cosmo: Cosmo is a very big teddy bear, almost too big to play with the other kittens but he can’t help himself. He just wants to join in. Very gentle, Cosmo seems undaunted by anything; dogs, cats, changes in scenery, visitors. Whatever comes his way, Cosmo is very laid back and relaxed. Ready to share a home with any person or pet that would like to be his friend.
Fozzy: Male, neutered. Arrived Jan 9/18 @ 5 yrs old
Fozzy: Fozzy was an owner surrender and his first time away from home was very traumatic for him. Despite his fear, Fozzy never reacted with defensive aggression. Wide-eyed and frozen, Fozzy let us clean his cage and refeed him without incident. It didn’t take long for him to learn he was not in danger and soon responded with purrs when gently stroked. Fozzy, surprisingly, was not disturbed by the presence of other cats and was soon let out to mingle. Now rooming with five other cats Fozzy is quite overwhelmed and tries to scurry out for some alone time as often as possible. Sitting on the office desk for a break from the busy youngsters, Fozzy would like some peace and quiet, and a new family all too himself.
Woods: Male, neutered, Arrived Oct 6/17 @2-3 yrs old
Woods is a gentle giant. When he first arrived we were apprehensive about mixing him with other cats. So much larger than the rest, if he decided to, he could do some damage. He was always so gentle and never seemed concerned at all looking down from his cage as others walked the floor. He was moved into a room with 5 young kittens. We were amazed at how well he tolerated all their antics; pawing his flicking tail, banging into him as they raced by. They grew to teenagers sharing his room. Many were placed, several still remain with Woods. Woods wasn’t advertised for a while, we waited for his neuter appointment then he had an opportunity for a home but had to be compatible with a dog. We tried him with shelter dogs but Woods was not comfortable with them. Woods is ready to move on, he would love to share a home with other cats. Woods would be most compatible with a younger male cat. He still thinks he’s Casanova with the ladies and they don’t always appreciate the attention.
Beau: Male, Arrived Aug 13/17 @ 5 mos old
Beau: Beau is a heartbreaker. So shy but so gentle. Beau is very outgoing toward familiar people but sometimes timid around strangers. Hiding from danger, he loves to nuzzle his head into the crook of your arm as you hold him.
Beau will be neutered Jan 31/18
Pumpkin Spice: Male, Arrived Oct 6/17 @5 weeks old
Pumpkin Spice arrived in October just as one of our staff was enjoying a favorite seasonal Latte from her favorite coffee shop. All warm and sweet but can sometimes keep you awake at night, this kitten will give you that Ahhh moment at first sip.
Cal: Male, Arrived Oct 6/17 @5 weeks old
Cal is always alert and ready for any toy mouse laying in wait. He has a great imagination and growls as he takes his fallen prey away from all the other jungle cats to feast alone.
Elijah: Arrived Nov.24/17 @ 6 weeks old.
Elijah takes everything as it comes. Although he prefers cats he is learning to accept those rude drooling, barking things as long as they show some manners. He really enjoys people almost as much as cats. They let him play with their boot laces and climb into their arms for a cuddle. When the fun is over Elijah likes to nap in a snuggle pile of sleeping roommates.
Riley: Arrived Nov.24/17 @ 6 Weeks old
Riley loves a day filled with play. Any playmate will do. He’s really comfortable with dogs or cats and he especially likes those two-legged visitors. They bring dancing strings and little red bug lights that climb up the walls. When it’s time for a nap Riley climbs underneath his blanket and tucks himself in.
Hazel: Female. Arrived Nov 24/17 @10 weeks
Hazel has one hazel eye and one blue eye. Almost identical to her brother, Hazel will greet you at the door for a rub..
Blue: Male, Arrived Nov 24/17 @10 weeks
Blue named for his blue eye, not for his disposition, Blue takes some time to warm up in a crowd but likes a cuddle when the atmosphere is quiet and the visitors are familiar.
Ariel, the only female of the litter, arrived with her brothers Alvin, Zeus, and Lenny. Like her brothers, she was a little scared when she came in but has grown into a super friendly young lady. She loves her big brothers and although smaller in size has no trouble keeping up with them.
Ariel will be spayed on Jan 31/18
