Woods: Male, neutered, Arrived Oct 6/17 @2-3 yrs old
Woods is a gentle giant. When he first arrived we were apprehensive about mixing him with other cats. So much larger than the rest, if he decided to, he could do some damage. He was always so gentle and never seemed concerned at all looking down from his cage as others walked the floor. He was moved into a room with 5 young kittens. We were amazed at how well he tolerated all their antics; pawing his flicking tail, banging into him as they raced by. They grew to teenagers sharing his room. Many were placed, several still remain with Woods. Woods wasn’t advertised for a while , we waited for his neuter appointment then he had an opportunity for a home but had to be compatible with a dog. We tried him with shelter dogs but Woods was not comfortable with them. Woods is ready to move on, he would love to share a home with other cats. Woods would be most compatible with a younger male cat. He still thinks he’s Casanova with the ladies and they don’t always appreciate the attention.
Beau: Male, Arrived Aug 13/17 @ 5 mos old
Beau: Beau is a heart breaker. So shy but so gentle. Beau is very outgoing toward familiar people but sometimes timid around strangers. Hiding from danger, he loves to nuzzle his head into the crook of your arm as you hold him.
Beau will be neutered Jan 31/18
Pumpkin Spice: Male, Arrived Oct 6/17 @5 weeks old
Pumpkin Spice arrived in October just as one of our staff was enjoying a favorite seasonal Latte from her favorite coffee shop. All warm and sweet but can sometimes keep you awake at night, this kitten will give you that Ahhh moment at first sip.
Cal: Male, Arrived Oct 6/17 @5 weeks old
Cal is always alert and ready for any toy mouse laying in wait. He has a great imagination and growls as he takes his fallen prey away from all the other jungle cats to feast alone.
Elijah: Arrived Nov.24/17 @ 6 weeks old.
Elijah takes everything as it comes. Although he prefers cats he is learning to accept those rude drooling, barking things as long as they show some manners. He really enjoys people almost as much as cats. They let him play with their boot laces and climb into their arms for a cuddle. When the fun is over Elijah likes to nap in a snuggle pile of sleeping roommates.
Riley: Arrived Nov.24/17 @ 6 Weeks old
Riley loves a day filled with play. Any playmate will do. He’s really comfortable with dogs or cats and he especially likes those two legged visitors. They bring dancing strings and little red bug lights that climb up the walls. When it’s time for a nap Riley climbs underneath his blanket and tucks himself in.
Hazel: Female. Arrived Nov 24/17 @10 weeks
Hazel has one hazel eye and one blue eye. Almost identical to her brother, Hazel will greet you at the door for a rub..
Blue: Male, Arrived Nov 24/17 @10 weeks
Blue named for his blue eye, not for his disposition, Blue takes some time to warm up in a crowd but likes a cuddle when the atmosphere is quiet and the visitors are familiar.
Kindle; sweet and shy, wishes she was brave enough to run right up to say hello. Many visitors don’t understand that she just needs a little coaxing to feel safe enough to enjoy a soft voice and a head scratch.
Kindle will be spayed Jan 31/18
Zeus was the first of a litter of scared kittens to realize that it was very silly to be afraid of people. All they want to do was give great ear scratches and yummy snacks. It wasn’t long before he convinced his litter mates to feel the same. This nosy little man is the first to come over to greet you and is quick to butt in between you and the others and instantly steals the show.
Zeus will be neutered on Jan 31/18
Alvin, An absolute in your face, love me, love me, love me! He can’t find enough people to spread all that love on. He’s just waiting for a house full of kids to fight over “whose turn it is” to cuddle up to him.
Alvin will be neutered Jan 31/18.
Ariel, the only female of the litter, arrived with her brothers Alvin, Zeus, and Lenny. Like her brothers, she was a little scared when she came in but has grown into a super friendly young lady. She loves her big brothers and although smaller in size has no trouble keeping up with them.
Ariel will be spayed on Jan 31/18
Tazz has spent most of his life here at the shelter, he was just one week old when he first arrived! He’s grown into a very curious and kind Teenager. Although he seems very content here, he would love to find a home where he can experience how much greater life can be when you have a family all your own.
Tazz will be neutered Jan 31/18
