The Burin Peninsula SPCA has been nominated for a Cat It Shelter Contest.

We are thrilled to inform you that your shelter or rescue has been nominated by a Catit King or Queen to participate in our Catit Shelter Contest! Your shelter or rescue now has a chance to WIN a Catit care package worth $200!

Here’s how it works:

The public will vote for their favourite shelters.

The top 3 winning shelters will each receive a Catit care pack worth $200.

The remaining shelters and rescues will be entered into a raffle, and we will select one (1) additional winner at random!

The 3 shelters with the most votes by June 28, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. will each receive a special Catit Care Pack.

After the contest, a list of participating shelters will be available on our website, helping more cat lovers discover your shelter.
